The Umbrella Academy (Netflix) A graphic novel turned TV series that follows a dysfunctional family of adopted super humans fighting each other and their own demons. Oh, and there’s an impending apocalypse.
Truth Seekers (Amazon Prime Video) A paranormal, quirky, sci-fi, comedy starring Simon Pegg.
Movies
Hamilton (Disney+) A Broadway musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. CNet put together a guide on how to watch.
The Hundred-Foot Journey (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video) Drama-comedy starring Helen Mirren as a snooty restauranteur who disapproves of a self-taught chef who opens a restaurant 100 feet away.
Blow the Man Down (Amazon Prime Video) I plan to watch this movie tonight. It’s described as a Coen Brothers (Fargo) meet Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom) comedy noir thriller. I’m so in!
